Whack Fun Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Whack Fun is a golf app for recording the highlights of a round. This policy covers the beta version of the app distributed through Apple TestFlight.
The short version
Whack Fun keeps everything on your phone. It does not collect, send or sell any of your information.
What the app stores
The app saves the things you enter: rounds, highlights, notes, friends' names and course names. This data is stored only in the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded to a server, because the app does not have one.
If you delete the app, iOS deletes this data with it. Use Export in the app first if you want to keep a copy.
What the app does not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- No connection to the internet. The app works fully offline.
- No access to your contacts, location or microphone.
- Photos: if you add photos to a round (camera or photo library), copies are stored only on your device, inside the app. They leave your device only when you choose to share or export them. The app only sees photos you pick. Photos from your camera may contain location data (EXIF) added by iOS; Whack Fun doesn't read or use it, but it stays in the photo file if you share or export it.
Sharing
Data leaves the app only when you tap Share or Export. The app then opens the standard iOS share sheet, and you choose where the summary or file goes (for example Messages, Mail or Files). After that, the app you chose handles it under its own privacy policy.
TestFlight
Apple's TestFlight service may give the developer basic information, such as your tester email, the device model and crash reports, according to Apple's TestFlight terms. The Whack Fun app itself does not send anything.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
