Bingo Bango Bongo rules
Three points up for grabs on every hole, and none of them care about your score. Share this page with your group before you tee off.
Bingo: longest drive
- Longest tee shot that finishes in the fairway.
- Rough, hazards, bunkers or out of bounds don't qualify.
- Par 4 and par 5 holes only. Par 3s have no Bingo: the point carries.
- Nobody in the fairway? The point carries.
- Carried points build a pot; the next Bingo winner takes it all, then it resets to one point.
- A pot still unclaimed after the last hole is forfeited.
Bango: first on the green
- First ball to come to rest on the green.
- Every hole, par 3s included. Play in the normal order.
- Doesn't depend on how many strokes it took. 1 point.
Bongo: longest holed putt
- Longest putt holed from the green. Estimates are fine.
- Only putts that drop count. 1 point.
In the app
- Tap a player to give an award, tap again to clear it.
- A player can win more than one award on a hole.
- Leave Bango or Bongo empty and nobody gets it (no carry).
- Everything stays editable; totals recalculate.
Just for fun: the app keeps count, you keep each other honest.
